Departing for Japan

Sorry for the very updates... Very limited opportunities to get internet access, especially with the tight schedule... So, to cut it short before the internet access gets cut off, I'll let the pictures do the talking for now...

National Leader back from COC meeting in Japan

Our NL, Abg. Hj, arrived back to Brunei from Tokyo, last night... almost close to midnight. There was an event held at KKBS, so after the function ended, we made a beeline straight for the airport.

As our NL came out into the arrival hall, we welcome him with cheers, and cheers... and more cheers... and somehow we did too many cheers that we began to draw too much attention to ourselves. People were probably wondering whether another celebrity arrived in Brunei as was the case the day before. Ya, whatever... we were happy that our NL came back to us, bringing back various helppful information, especially in  regards to our exhibitions and our homestay locations in Japan.

Although, he seemed uneasy to let go of that big plastic bag full of chocolate that he brought back with him...

Unfortunately, we spent only a short time at the airport because of the heavy rain pouring... and were so lost in our cheering that we forgot to take pictures....

National Leader'09 off to Japan for COC meeting.

Last night, our NL, Abg. Hj, left for the COC meeting in Tokyo. He'll be there for 5 days, till the 1st of Nov. Majority of the BPY'09 went to the airport to see him off.

The airport was kindna crowded that day, since many students were heading back aboard after spending a small part of their raya holidays in Brunei. Some of us arrived very late due to the long time spent looking for a parking space.

Obviously, we had a photo session before he left us.

Doing our photo session line.

Well, we aren't the type to let a chance to do a pose "maut" go to waste.

Photo Session (Official?)

Last night, we have a photo session at Regalblue Production (http://www.regalblue.tv) for our Profile Book, Name Cards and ID Tags.
Everyone looked great last night…

Our thanks to Regalblue Production for allowing us to use their studio as our venue.

Because it wouldn't be a surprise if everyone knew what our photos for the Profile Book will look like, our dear readers are just going to have to wait for the actual book to be printed out and distributed during the 36th SSEAYP.

In the meanwhile, all we can offer to show you all are glimpses of what went on behind-the-scene.

September Birthday Celebrants....

In the month of September, we have 4 BPYs'09, Aniza, Farah, Rafie & Nizam, celebrating their birthdays. As the saying goes, " The more, the merrier", we decided to surprise all of them at once... Our YL, Iqbal, had to set up them... and us too somehow, with a game... which didn't have any meaning other than to divert the 4 celebrants' attention.

BPY'09 w/ BPY'08 for Sungkai and Sharing Session

Last night, BPY’09 was invited to a Sungkai gathering with BPY’08 at the residence of the BPY’08 Youth Leader, Hj Khairul Ariffin Bin Hj Abd Aji, in Jerudong.

Although a few of the BPY’09 and BPY’08 weren't able to make it, we still had a great time. We had an informal Q&A session with the BPY’08, them sharing their experiences and giving us advices regarding the responsibilities of the Committees, and also on the Discussion Group topics.
As expected, a photo session was compulsory as without it, the evening would not be complete.

To BPY’08, thanks for the sharing session.
To the BPY’08 YL, Ariffin, thanks for having us at your lovely house. I hope we didn’t break anything or make too much of a racket… (Yeah right… on the latter…)
